The bookkeeper who’s been on your side of the desk

Most bookkeeping firms come out of public accounting. Lines & Ledger didn’t — and that’s the point.

I’m Nick Trabue. I’ve spent more than 20 years working inside small businesses: running the numbers, managing payroll, making a budget stretch, and sitting in the room when the hard calls got made. I hold an MBA and a BS in Finance from Western Kentucky University, plus an IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). I’ve built my career on one belief — small business owners deserve the same quality of financial insight big companies get, delivered in plain English at a price that makes sense.

The other half of the story is personal. I watched my partner build her own business from an idea into nearly a decade of successful operation. I know what your business means to you, because ours means the same to us.

What you can expect

Plain English. No jargon, no lectures. You’ll always understand your own numbers.

No judgment. Books three years behind? You won’t hear a sigh from us.

Fixed pricing. Quotes up front, after a free review. No surprise invoices.

A real relationship. You work with the same person every month — one who knows your business and answers the phone.

Let’s talk about your books. The first conversation is free.
